Filtration elements are made from pleated stainless-steel mesh enabling them to be cleaned and re-used. The "Duplex" design allows the fouled element side to be cleaned without interrupting lube oil flow and equipment operations. Failsafes prohibit access to the "live" operational flow side of the unit. With over 50+ years of operational experience, these units are currently employed on various Surface Combatant, Amphibious and Support ship classes.
