During Fueling-At-Sea, the operator controls the movements of the saddles via the Saddle Winches, which control the extension and retraction of saddle whips on the fuel rig. There are three saddle winches in a fuel STREAM rig - the Number 1 (Retrieving) Winch for the outboard controlling whip, the Number 2 (Outboard) Winch connected to the number 2 saddle, and the Number 3 (Inboard) Winch connected to the number three saddle controlling the inboard part of the hose rig.
